I have a 1996 Mercedes E320 (W210) with a custom built exhaust system (tuned for high flow air) and a K&N air filter.

Before you answer -- things I do NOT want to hear:
** The E320 is slow. Get a new car.
** There is no way to add power.
** Everything for Mercedes is too expensive.
** You suck for having a Mercedes at all.
** K&N Air Filters don't do anything. -- I am AWARE that the filter does not do much. I got it for free from a promo.
** Anything else negative or not constructive.

Also, please don't answer if you don't know anything about cars.

Now, here's the deal. I'm looking to add a little bit of power here. Not a lot, just whatever I can get without adding a turbo. Let's set the bar at $1000 max.

To reiterate, I am looking to make the car have more power. I'm NOT looking for aesthetic gains (last time I asked this question, all I got was advice on buying new rims).

Also, websites to buy high quality performance parts is good.

Response to Joe -- I'm not looking to make a race car. LOL. I'm trying to be conservative with money here and bulk up my daily driver. I plan on getting an AMG in the future, but for now, I want to sink a little pocket money to make my perfect E320 even ... perfecter.
